Advance Packaging Corporation is seeking Production Supervisor Trainee for 2nd shift
This position is designed to provide a concentrated and compressed working experience through the various areas of our operation as it interacts with overall production operations. The individual will be assigned to work up to 3-month periods in each of the following areas: Customer Service, Corrugator-Scheduling, Box Plant, Maintenance, Delivery, Design and HR-Safety. During this time the individual will become familiar with company policies, operating procedures, budget guidelines, MIOSHA and other applicable governmental regulations.
The Production – Management Trainee is provided with opportunities to lead, teach and direct employees monitoring results for continuous improvement. Once training period is complete the individual will be placed in a management position based on company needs. This position requires a 4-Year college degree with a closely related “manufacturing” major or minor, or equivalent experience. We will consider candidates who are within one semester of graduation and who wish to spend this final semester in an internship program with APC.

Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test. High School diploma or GED required. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, whole numbers and fractions and convert fractions to decimals. Must be able to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16" Read, understand and follow written instructions in English and to write such things as product identification tags, problem descriptions, quality reports, special instructions, etc.
$500.00 hire on bonus. Incremental bonus payments up to $2000.00 total based on 1st year attendance.
