What do we need:
We are looking for a skilled Manager to lead the creation of a new team focused on guiding Amway’s Agile Transformation.
What’s special about this team:
This is a brand-new team for Amway. The Agile Transformation Office will be tasked with advancing Agile methodologies throughout the Enterprise. The team will ultimately consist of Program Managers, Product Owners, Change Management, Portfolio Management, and a Technical Coach. Ultimately this will be a team of 8 contributors. All these roles will hardline directly into this Manager role, and this role will report directly to the Director of IT Enterprise Architecture and Planning.
How you would contribute to the role:
In this role, you’ll be asked to develop the end-state vision of Agile within the strategies of the organization. As such, you’ll have oversight of the broader execution of our Agile Transformation and become a trusted advisor to the leaders of the organization. It’ll be your responsibility to develop transition plans that are outcome oriented, actionable, and reflect a deep understanding of the Agile approach. Your ability to work with both IT leadership and enterprise leadership will be counted on, as you be leading Agile process improvements globally in alignment with the enterprise.
As a people leader, you will also have talent management and staffing responsibilities, encompassing the following:
- Human capital planning and governance
- Staffing, interviewing, and hiring
- Talent development
- Executive annual talent management processes including developing objectives, assessing performance, calibrations, and leadership development
What skills and background will be important to be successful:
To be considered for this role, you will have to have a deep understanding of the Agile methodology and experience coaching/mentoring/leading people in that methodology. A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
