We are hiring a Social Innovation Manager to join our global Social Innovation team!



What you will be doing:


  • Build and engage a global learning community on topics of equity, education and the environment.
  • Thought leadership and consulting with internal and external stakeholders on topics related to Social Innovation
  • Design and manage the Social Innovation learning and engagement programs (Better Futures Community, Better Futures Lab, Better Futures Fellowship)
  • Design and manage Social Innovation workshops and events, e.g. innovation bootcamps by designing and facilitating sessions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide project design, including supporting the development of innovative solutions as well as operational processing of activities
  • Participate and co-design with the team and community partners to align on strategy, impact and delivery
  • Measure impact of prototypes and programs
  • Provide analysis & content preparation (data on projects, PowerPoint presentations, briefs, etc) for priority topics and executive management meetings
  • Design Social Innovation integration in Steelcase operations
  • Support other core processes of Social Innovation (e.g. finance, communications, and events) as required


Who you are:


Required Skills and Competencies


  • Social Innovation and community leadership experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field of study.
  • Prior experience in UX and learning design.
  • Previous exposure in a global environment
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and solid network building experience.
  • Proficiency in both face-to-face and virtual facilitation.
  • Effective communication and storytelling skills.
