About Our Internship Program:

Here at Amway, our interns develop through real world experience and are assigned meaningful projects that challenge and allow for personal growth. All Interns receive project support and on-going performance feedback from a person advisor and hiring manager. Amway hosts over 80+ interns each summer and offers programming events designed to assist navigating Amway culture, making the most of a summer internship, and building a successful career. The program provides exposure to a breadth of career fields and offers unique opportunities to learn business acumen, work cross-functionally and showcase their skillsets directly to hiring managers and executives.

Internship Eligibility:

This job posting is for our summer 2021 Internship Program (May – August); qualified candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and one semester or more left of school to complete at the beginning of their internship. Candidates who have graduated are not eligible to intern.

Internship Job Title: Packaging Engineer Intern

What is special about this team: Packaging I&S is responsible to design and develop innovative package solutions that communicate the brand, support the ABO and delight the customer by delivering a superior consumer experience.

How would an intern contribute to the team’s success? Candidates will leave with an understanding of the Product Development process. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop packaging and/or packaging recommendations in support of a new product launch, cost savings or quality improvement. You will work closely with other Packaging Engineers, have access to our state-of-the-art Packaging Lab and will have the opportunity to visit our on-site manufacturing plants (Cosmetics, Personal Care, Nutrition, Cartons & Labels and Bottle Blow Molding). You will gain exposure to a variety of departments involved in the development process and get the opportunity to interact with various levels of the organization.

An example of a typical project is: Conduct competitive review, establish the profile design criteria, identify solutions, test plan design and execution and/or establish specifications to meet project objectives. You will have the opportunity to support Packaging R&D sustainability goals related to components and materials.
