Join a dynamic team that puts customer satisfaction, safety, and integrity first! We’re hiring a Logistics Account Manager to prospect and acquire new customers, manage accounts, coordinate freight logistics, and provide backup support to our ICE fleet dispatch.

This position is part of ICE, a small but vital division of Etna Supply. While ICE operates as a smaller fleet within the larger Etna organization, you’ll enjoy the backing, stability, and benefits of a company with more than 60 years of success.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage relationships with customers, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Meet or exceed sales and profit goals by developing a strong sales pipeline
  • Prospect and secure new customers while growing existing accounts
  • Source reputable, safe carriers for freight services
  • Provide customer quotes, negotiate contracts, and optimize profits
  • Plan, coordinate, and track shipments from pickup to delivery
  • Resolve transportation issues quickly and professionally
  • Keep accurate records of transactions and communications
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to attract and retain customers
  • Provide backup support to the ICE fleet dispatch team
  • Stay informed of market trends and DOT/FMCSA regulations
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation laws

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong communicator and relationship builder with excellent customer service skill
  • Proactive problem-solver who thrives under pressure
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Sales-driven mindset with negotiation skills to close deals
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn industry-specific software
  • Working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations (preferred but not required)

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months experience in logistics, transportation, or sales preferred (or equivalent
  • combination of education and experience)
  • Basic understanding of business financials, contracts, and insurance documentation
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
