About this Opportunity
As a Business Analyst - Robotics Process Automation, you'll be responsible for the design and implementation of IT processes. You will provide support to functional areas by creating and communicating solutions to complex problems and projects.

Influence business partners to adopt robotic process automation (RPA).
Interface directly with business stakeholders across the Herman Miller brands on a daily basis to source potential projects for automation.
Oversee the current state process capture, recommend and implement process re-engineering to support automation, and oversee Use Case creation.
Manage the testing and sign-off of automated solutions with business stakeholders and the RPA developers.
Review automation output and recommend optimizations to improve the success rate for both in development and in production automations.
Remain knowledgeable and adhere to all information technology security protocols and procedures. You will collaborate with IT Security and other IT teams to ensure the highest product security standards are met.
Apply advanced problem-solving skills and execute solutions to complex problems independently.
Apply learned IT skills to work assignments.
Coach and mentor IT tasks and skills to others.
Develop and implement IT processes.
Identify opportunities and own improvements to technologies and IT processes.
Lead, define, and complete complex IT tasks independently, and lead small projects as needed.
Manage and hold accountability for project completions.
Present your work output in a clear and concise manner.
Document and map out business processes.
Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

You might be just who we're looking for if you have...
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (IS), or relevant academic discipline (preferred).
Six years of professional IT and IS experience.
Zero to two years of experience participating on project teams.
A demonstrated ability in the areas of process mapping and requirements gathering to support technical implementations.
Strong interpersonal and organization skills and the ability to prioritize accordingly.
A proven track record of being a self-starter and the ability to gain an understand of business processes and how they translate into technical development requirements quickly.
The ability to track and hold others accountable using project management software and get concise updates via huddle meetings.
Experience working with abstract concepts in innovative ways to solve problems.
Exposure to modern RPA platforms (e.g., Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UI Path, Pega Robotics, WorkFusion) preferred.
Familiarity with the use of Scrum Methodologies (i.e., sprint planning, sprint review, backlog management, transparency, inspection, and adaptation).
An expert knowledge of how current trends and technology may be used to support business partners.
A proficient understanding of and ability to identify how technology solves business problems.
A core understanding of and ability to connect the needs of multiple Herman Miller functional areas.
The ability to perform all essential job functions of the position with or without accommodations.
