What you will be doing:

As the leader of the Storage Product Marketing team, you will drive growth and leadership in the storage segment of the Furniture category for the Americas. You will set the direction for the segment by managing existing product lines and leading product development and launch initiatives to grow our position and portfolio. Storage is one of the largest product segments at Steelcase and is poised to evolve as a key interface between users and the emerging hybrid workplace! You’ll also lead category wide initiatives around innovation topics like sustainability, data analytics, and workplace health and safety.

Who you are:

Strong knowledge and understanding of all phases of product life cycle with previous successful product management experience

Understands and influences product line financial performance through strong business acumen

Ability to envision, establish, and implement strategies, plans, and budgets for assigned product / program group(s)

Thorough understanding of product development process, preferably through direct experience on a major development project

Ability to lead multiple, competing demands effectively using appropriate prioritization & organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with research, design, engineering, manufacturing sales/marketing, dealers and internal leaders at multiple levels

Strong oral and written communication skills to prepare and present product / program proposals to all levels of management and to external customers and dealers

Ability to communicate concepts in a way others can easily understand.

Interest in building new knowledge to drive positive change and new strategies


Bachelor's degree preferred in marketing, business, or equivalent working experience

MBA or master’s degree preferred or relevant working experience

8+ years of marketing or product management experience is preferred

Experience leading people and teams

Your future team:

This role leads a team of three product marketing professionals to manage the portfolio and execute the product development roadmap.
