Clark Retirement is looking for someone that is very detail oriented, organized and driven for results to fill our open Senior Account position. In this role, you will support the Controller through the collection, processing, recording, reconciliation and reporting of financial data. This position will also serve as the reimbursement specialist for the organization.

Essential Job Functions:

· Serves as reimbursement expert for all Clark entities, and is responsible for staying current on industry rules and regulations and informing or training other employees as necessary.

· Partners with Sales & Marketing Office to complete financial qualification assessment for prospective residents.

· Manages all entrance fees received by Clark and records the related assets, liabilities and revenue recognition as appropriate.

· Prepares and enters month-end general ledger journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP and established procedures.

· Completes monthly account reconciliations for assigned accounts, and reviews the general ledger for accuracy and completeness.

· Assists with general ledger maintenance, Medicaid cost reporting, 990 preparation, and Medicaid and Medicare audits.

· Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including the creation of statistical and financial reports for management as requested.

· Supports annual financial audit procedures, including preparation of work papers and coordination with external auditors.

· Assists with daily banking and cash management, and serves as a backup for Accounts Payable.
