We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Construction Mortgage Loan Processor at our Corporate Office in Grand Rapids, MI. United Bank is searching for driven individuals who are profoundly detailed, along with focused on helping our customers by meeting their mortgage loan objectives. The Construction Mortgage Loan Processor position is a fundamental position at United Bank. Mortgage Processors have the important role of providing detailed support to the Mortgage Loan Officers, along with building and keeping relationships with our customers. This includes collecting and verifying all proper documentation in preparation for processing and closing mortgage loans. You are responsible for the finite details on the loan documentation, including legal descriptions, dates, signatures, and qualification standards. You will also be a liaison between the customer and the loan officer, assisting them with questions, attaining proper documentation, and scheduling closings. Manages construction draw process. Collects sworn statement, lien waivers, builder's information, contract, disburses draws, collects title company endorsement, may travel to building site when manufactured home is to be delivered. Acts as back up to the disclosure desk ensuring that disclosures are sent to borrower within 3 days of application. You will also be responsible for areas of compliance as it relates to your position and may be assigned special projects or additional duties.
This position requires:
- One year certificate for a college or technical school;
- 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training;
- Regular sitting;
- Utilizing hands & arms;
- Ability to talk & hear.
