Advance Packaging Corporation is seeking a Die Cut Operator.
Our Graphic team has a special group of operators that are specially trained to operator our die cutter as a second function of our graphic press. And our teams have won national and international awards for their printed boxes. Every order is challenge to beat competitors around the world! But what good is a pretty award winning box without a perfect die cut? It’s not an award winning box.
Die Cut Operators work in a team to set up the machine for each order, each order is custom designed and many orders are run each shift. These machines are not just monitored, but require changes for each order. They will custom fit each die onto the machine and make special adjustments for each order to ensure a crisp, clean and exact cut, free of raggedy edges and torn corners.
The product must be quality inspected as produced throughout the order run to ensure quality. Not just one person is responsible for these quality checks. It takes all members of the team to perform them and make appropriate adjustments.

WE TRAIN on these jobs. Consider training times that can last up to 12 months. Learning and becoming proficient in this industry is a time commitment. Qualified Candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, successfully demonstrate basic math skill working with fractions and be available for the shift assigned. Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and post offer drug and alcohol testing. Candidates must be willing to work 2nd shift with the possibility of moving to 3rd shift as our business grows.
$500.00 hire on bonus. Incremental bonus payments up to $2000.00 total based on 1st year attendance.
