The Workforce Reporting and Data Governance Analyst designs and delivers reporting solutions, insights, and analytics and partners with leadership on the development and implementation of data governance.

Location: 1300 Gezon Pkwy, Wyoming, MI 49509

  • This is a hybrid position working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Reporting

  • Serves as a Workday Prism and reporting expert with deep knowledge of current functionality, design concepts, touchpoints with relevant functional areas and in consideration of future product direction.
  • Conducts interviews with key business leaders and stakeholders to deeply understand what business problems we are trying to solve, key questions to be answered, and how the tools developed will fit into business processes.
  • Develops interactive and easy-to-understand visualizations using best practices to effectively solve business problems by enabling business insights and making recommendations.
  • Interprets data and analyzes results using statistical techniques to deliver data in a useful and appealing way to users. Recommends definitions for new and updated metrics, and supports metric data governance and documentation.
  • Familiar with blending multiple data sources together into cohesive insights

Data Governance

  • Develops data standards, policies, and procedures, including methodologies for monitoring, analyzing and correcting data usage, distribution, and reporting.
  • Facilitates collaboration and cross-functional partnerships in HR and across the company to solve the company’s most pressing data governance challenges, including creating and executing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and documenting and communicating upstream and downstream impacts that may be captured in a RACI matrix.
  • Evaluates priorities and works through complex issues to identify, develop and implement effective solutions for process and/or system optimization and/or automation.
  • Assists with change management, communication, and training initiatives that advance the HR Department’s data governance and reporting abilities and maturity.
  • Supports implementing scalable frameworks, standards and data best practices while upholding integrity and privacy across our data ecosystem and lifecycle.
  • Works as a data steward hand-in-hand with the managers of the critical data systems to convey data governance needs.
  • Supports the documentation and implementation of data quality policies, standards, and procedures for both legacy and new data environments.
  • Develops and delivers training to the end-users on new and existing dashboards and data standards.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Three or more years experience HRIS experience
  • One or more years experience or exposure to Workday PRISM or other data analytics tool: PowerBI or Tableau
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Information Systems, Human Resources or related field required.
