Description Maintains the merchandising and system infrastructure and processes that enable capability and business improvement within Merchandising and Supply Chain Planning.


What You'll be Doing:

  • Collaborate with the Business and ITS BR Team to develop and improve tools, templates, and methods that will enable development, deployment, improvement and support of merchandising capabilities.
  • Execute key decisions around development and maintenance of tools, templates, and methods related to assigned infrastructure area, including continuous system improvement, and working with Training/Change Management to support training and process improvement.
  • Supporting with the ITS BR Team and M Train Team the development and maintenance of tools, templates, and methods to be leveraged by merchandising and planning teams in the development, improvement and deployment of merchandising capabilities.
  • Accountable for managing tools, templates and methods that will support the development, deployment and improvement of all merchandising capabilities including Customer Integration & Demand, Forecasting & Planning, Inventory Control & Fulfillment, and Multi-Channel & Vendor.
  • Communicates with the PFBS Manager and Senior PFBS and the appropriate levels of the organization to recognize and raise issues or opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Enforces FACT-based decision-making within the Team.
  • Influences and partners with others outside of the organization.
  • Process improvement as it relates to system support and product flow

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree with technical and/or process management emphasis preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a specialist or developer in a business area, in planning, merchandising, supply chain or IT.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication, presentation and writing skills.
  • 3-5 years of system/process design and implementation.
  • Experience with core merchandising systems and understanding of principles: Pricing, Promotions, Replenishment, Product management, Inventory Management.
  • Experience in internal and/or external consulting.
  • Superior technical skills, with an emphasis on business reporting, relational databases, data sourcing and SQL; Data movement knowledge, theory and experience are a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical skills; high proficiency in Excel; strong understanding of statistics.
  • Proven track record forming partnerships and influencing effectively across all areas of the organization.
  • 5+ years of advanced merchandising capabilities skills required. Must be able to teach basics and advanced uses of these tools.
