Department: Amway North America IT

Salary Grade: $80k - $102k, plus Bonus

Location: Ada, MI (N. America)

What do we need:

We are looking for a Scrum Master to provide project and squad leadership for key strategic projects within the N. America IT and Digital cross-functional teams.

The N. America IT team plays an integral role in building solutions for our customers and IBOs. You will be joining a team of Business Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects, and Digital Product Owners that are driving transformative changes throughout the N. America market.

Our development project teams work in groups of 6-12 team members, and will have a variety of Scrum Masters, Developers, Analysts, and QA. This team engages in Peer Review and Paired Programming and enjoys a Continuous Improvement/Continuous Delivery environment and flexibility in terms of how they get work done. You would also work closely with the Digital team.

You will report to the Manager of IT Program and Project Management.

How you would contribute to the role:

In this role, you will partner with your squad to coordinate all the work and SCRUM ceremonies of one of the N. America capabilities squads. You will ensure that all the information regarding the ongoing product management is recorded and communicated using the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence), and the team is progressing and completing deliverables.

Day to day, you will follow Amway Agile SCRUM practices to lead daily stand-up meetings, assisting to define user stories, assigning work, creating and managing visual boards, calculating delivery timeframes, and communicating with your team and the project stakeholders. You will work with business stakeholders in the market to gain clarification on issues.

What skills and background will be important to be successful:

  • At least 5 years of experience working in IT, as well as prior experience working as a Scrum Master (Scrum Master certification is a huge plus)
  • Knowledge of the Agile Principles and the Scrum Methodology
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence
