IT Network Administrator

DeWys is currently seeking a skilled Network Administrator to add to our IT Team. This individual will act as a multi-tiered technical expert serving as the frontline of IT support for the company.

IT Network Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with department leads, managers, vendors, and others to determine computing needs, system requirements, and client needs
  • Communicates with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware, and operations problems
  • Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs
  • Installs and tests programs at various locations
  • Trains users on software and equipment usage
  • Responds to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs
  • Perform and maintain asset management activities

IT Network Administrator Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology discipline
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a technology customer support setting
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, hardware and software, cyber security and networking
  • Good working knowledge of database management (Access, Progress) and various programming languages (SQL, CH, VBScript, MS SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Customer service minded with the ability to explain technical concepts to those without a technical background
  • Desire to keep up current technology trends and improvements
  • Great team player with a positive, self motivated attitude
