University of Michigan Health - West is seeking a board certified/board eligible Gastroenterologist to join an innovative, collaborative environment. The ideal Candidate would be fellowship trained in IBD or have prior experience in IBD management. The Candidate would join a growing and expanding Service Line with expertise in general Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Advanced Endoscopy and IBD.
GI Practice Features
· Health system employed medical group model, extensive Primary Care referral network
· Practice of eleven providers
· Subspecialty service lines including IBD, Interventional endoscopy, and Hepatology already operational
· Co-located Colorectal Surgeon
· Single hospital coverage with equally shared call
· Dedicated GI hospital outpatient department adjacent to the hospital with plans to expand to additional ambulatory surgical center when needed
· Access to a system infusion center
· Olympus HD 190 Scopes
· APP support for inpatient and outpatient work
· EMR (Epic) with digital retrieval and access to studies from the office, the hospital and home
· Opportunities for teaching, clinical research, case conferences, and working closely with Michigan Medicine faculty members
