General Summary: Under the direction of the Technical Services Manager, this Network Engineer position will focus on providing implementation, design, and support of Metro Health’s Unified Communication (UC) technologies with the primary concentration being in the supervision of audiovisual and videoconference equipment. This Network Engineer will be part of a larger cross function engineering team that supports all voice, video, and the data infrastructure. Requirements: 5 or more years experience in the audio / visual and videoconferencing fields.5 or more years experience in digital and analog signaling.Experience and knowledge of healthcare is preferred but not requiredCCNA certification (or higher) or three or more years of experience needed.An Associates or Bachelor’s degree is helpful but not required.Outstanding grasp of information technology concepts and processes.Demonstrated aptitude for cross team interaction and leadership.Able to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demands.  Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Help with the design of audio / visual and videoconferencing technologies for the Metro Health enterprise with the primary focus being telemedicine.Day-to-day support of audio / visual and videoconferencing technologies.Help oversee vendor implementation of new and replacement audio / visual and videoconferencing technologiesHelp develop an ongoing day-to-day operations and maintenance support strategy for audio / visual and videoconferencing systems.Help develop an ongoing lifecycle strategy for current audio / visual systems and video conferencing systems.Help develop training materials for the various audio / visual , videoconferening systems, and collaboration technologies providing any education sessions when needed.Help provide integration strategies with other Unified Communication components such as voice, message, collaboration and Epic.Other duties as assigned with regular and predictable attendance.#IT
