QUALIFICATIONSEducation Minimum – Sophomore or above undergraduate college student with a 3.0 or above G.P.A, enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree program pursuing Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design or a related degree. Preferred – Junior/Senior undergraduate college student with a 3.0 or above G.P.A, enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree program pursuing Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design or a related degree. Credentials/Licensure Minimum – NonePreferred – Related Experience Minimum – NonePreferred – Other Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMinimum:§ Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to comfortably interact with diverse populations.§ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with a strong customer-service orientation.§ Ability to handle employee and organizational information in a confidential manner.§ Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Web Research.§ Ability to carry out assigned projects to completion in a timely manner.§ Interest in field or related fields. § Strong ability to multi-task, handle details and to maintain organization.§ Work experience in an office environment.§ Highly professional in all interactions – i.e., punctual, tactful, and positive. All actions are rooted in providing excellent customer service.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAssist in the graphic/web design of online publications. Assist in designing ads for various publications.Assist in weekly updates to the organization web site.Research branding and marketing strategies. Attend weekly meetings with the Web Strategist/Marketing Director. Assist in brainstorming concepts for upcoming projects.Work with project managers and team members to provide professional recommendations for concepts of upcoming events.
