Job Title:   Territory Sales Manager
 
Job Description:   Environmental Coatings is currently seeking two
- EXPERIENCED Coatings Sales Manager.

Based in the Midwest, to be responsible for the sale of Industrial Coatings to OEMs, this position requires an individual that is highly motivated, has excellent technical knowledge, a problem solver and detail-oriented individual.

With the ability to communicate effectively, lead negotiations, and create trusting relationships with both internal and external clients, only the best should apply.

Primary Location:
  • Midwest (Home Based)

Travel is required.
  • This position covers 2 regions in a number of states (MI WI IL MN IN OH KT MO KS IA NE), with a defined sales territory that will be set based upon the successful candidates location.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Seek out and identify sales opportunities. Target specific manufacturing industries and/or regions/areas.
  • Grow territory sales by converting prospects to satisfied customers.
  • Build relationships through networking and referrals; develop customer relationships in an effort to be the preferred supplier.
  • Implement sales and business related strategies
  • Effective communication with company’s sales management and technical teams.
  • Maintain sufficient knowledge of coating types, related application methods and equipment.
  • Stay abreast of competitive products and programs.
  • Participate in market related trade shows.
  • Attend customer product trials.
  • Participate in the company Continuous Improvement Process.
  • Support the company 'safety programs'.

 
Requirements:   Minimum Knowledge/Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the OEM coatings industry is the primary requirement.
  • 5+ years related experience essential
  • Industry Specifications and Practices for QA/QC Measurement
  • Windows Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • 4 year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

 
Salary:   $65k to $85k
