We are currently looking to add a Branch Manager to our team! The purpose of this position is to supervisor all branch activities with a working knowledge of daily operations of the credit union, including lending, teller functions and member service. He/she will also represent the credit union in the community to foster new business and promotes products and services to achieve established goals.
Specific Job Functions:
Supervises loan, member service and teller staff. Fills in for any branch position and handles all job duties related to that position when necessary for the efficient operation of the branch
Provides training, direction and coaching of staff in fostering a sales and service culture
Motivates staff in cross-sell activities and/or develops incentive program based on the goals of the credit union
Resolves account problems and provides information to members quickly, professionally while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
Closely monitors teller cash balancing and records cash out of balances. Initiates random cash counts on teller cash drawers
Solicits consumer loan applications and informs members of current rates, payment calculations and lending services offered by the credit union
Interviews credit applicants, evaluates credit scoring and renders decisions on loans within the lending guidelines established by the Board of Directors and individual lending authority
Minimal Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and work experience
Two to five yearsâ€™ experience in supervisory capacity
Two to five years of loan and lending experience
Two to five years of previous banking and/or credit union experience
