1. Providing services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, neurological disorders, or other developmental disabilities 2. Engaging in activities related to the delivery of applied behavior analysis services, including but not limited to: observation, data collection, implementation of early intensive and other applied behavior analysis interventions as specified in a plan of service 3. Assisting with the training of other staff and caregivers 4. Administering medications, if required, according to a specified standard 5. Maintaining accurate daily and monthly records and files on program activities, including data entry into computerized files 6. Providing transportation to community activities 7. Attending team meetings and working with a team to assure the delivery of services within parameters established by a certified Behavior Analyst 8. Establishing a safe, warm, and positive atmosphere for the persons served.
An Associates or Bachelors degree in psychology, social work, human services, child development, or related field is preferred but not required. One year of experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities is required. Must have and maintain a MI drivers license with less than six points. Good writing and verbal skills, must be able to perform accurately basic math functions. This individual will have knowledge of and an ability to learn about Autism Spectrum Disorder and Applied Behavior Analysis and must successfully complete required training.
