Crisis Residential Specialist
Coordinate Crisis Residential individualized services focused on emergency placement of youth. Responsibilities include monitoring program services to assure safety and that services are helping the youth reach his/her individual goals as needed. In addition to coordinating program services the individual provides on-call and back-up coverage for staff providing services. Specific responsibilities include:
-Reviews and completes client and program documentation, i.e. updating consumer summary and progress reviews; documents all case related activities to fulfill program requirements.
-Provides on-call and back up coverage for Direct Care Staff including program crisis intervention services, over phone and face-to-face at program.
Bachelor degree in human services, or related degree/work experience; Licensure preferred. Relevant experience working with youth with developmental disabilities and serious emotional disturbances preferred. Lived experience with behavioral health issues is desired. Individual must be available evening and weekends; scheduling is flexible.
