Families First Worker
Provides direct in-home services to families substantiated for child abuse and neglect. Services are directed at keeping the family intact and preventing foster care placement of children. Flexible scheduling, position does include evening hours/weekends & on-call. Minimum qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related Human Service field is required - LBSW preferred. Two (2) years relevant experience with children and families preferred. Good communication skills and ability to work with a team. Valid Michigan driver's license and driving record which complies with agency policy. Ability to regularly provide out-of-office service in community settings in nonstructured, unpredictable situations. Ability to implement physical assistance/ intervention as warranted.
SALARY: contingent upon relevant experience.
