Paws With A Cause is a national non-profit organization
that trains Assistance Dogs for the hearing impaired/deaf and
the mobility challenged. All of the first phases of training
is done at our Moline, MI location and once that is complete
(approximately 4-6 months) the Assistance Dog is then placed
with the client to bond for a few days. After bonding with their
new friend, a PAWS Field Instructor (which acts as an independent
contractor) works with client to help utilize what that dog
has been trained to do. Once the Field Instructor feels that
their training as a team is complete, they will become a certified
working PAWS team and legally become an Assistance Dog.
PAWS national headquarters and Canine Evaluation
Center is located at 4646 South Division in Moline, Michigan.
We are located on Divsion between 100th and 142nd Street. We
have been in the Grand Rapids area since our inception in 1979.
We continue to rapidly grow, and from time to time we need friendly
long term employees to fill many vacant positions in various
different departments such as: staff training, field instructing
(independent contractors that work out of their homes throughout
the United States), building and kennel care, veterinary, foster
puppy, breeding, and various office positions that we have available.
