Review Purchasing documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. Missing or inaccurate information requires timely follow-up with vendors and/or internal personnel.

Maintain accurate contractual records on the Company's intranet.

Update and maintain procurement data within associated software.

Provide technical support and/or training to internal users in the use of procurement software.

Compile, record, and complete numerical purchasing data reports.

Complete specifically assigned projects relating to procurement and accounting and provide summaries and reports as may be required.

Audit vendor invoicing for accuracy/pricing and process for payment.

Complete other duties as may be assigned.

Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.

Ability to record, compile, and organize information with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Knowledge of and experience with e-mail, internet, intranet, and general computer technology.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.

Ability to read and interpret purchasing policies and procedure.

Knowledge of inventory procedures and control.

Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills are required.

Proficient in the use of office equipment including computer terminals, calculators, fax machines, telephones, copiers, postage machines, etc.

Occasionally requires the capability to lift up to 50 pounds. This position requires standing or sitting for extended periods of time.

Requires good body mechanics, coordination, and manual dexterity.


Associates degree in Business or Accounting preferred but not required


Minimum of six months Purchasing and/or Accounting experience preferred
