The role of the Disability Management Specialist is to manage and process claims; to determine benefits due pursuant to a short term disability plan. To analyze reported Family Medical Leave (FMLA) requests; to make determinations based on state and federal regulations; to communicate clearly with clients and claimants on all aspects of claims process; and to ensure that on-going claim management is within company service standards and industry best practices.
The Disability Management Specialist shall have:
Three (3) years general office experience required.
Minimum of three (3) years disability management and
FMLA administration experience preferred.
Human Resources experience including FMLA administration is preferred.
