Unpaid 2017 Internship: Foundation Are you currently a Junior or Senior undergraduate student looking to complete your internship in the Foundation? We're looking for an intern for the 2017 Fall semester (August/September-December) for 20+ hours/week.
The Metro Health Hospital Foundation is seeking an individual to fulfill an important and meaningful role as we pursue grant funding for our projects and administration. In this position the individual will be immersed in our grant research and grant writing work. The individual will provide essential research for the development of our grant application strategy, and will draft and produce grant proposals.
Responsibilities could include:
• Researching available and applicable grants
• Data entry and time-lining for grant proposals
• Research, retrieval and assembly of background material for grant proposals
• Drafting of letters of inquiry and full grant proposals for submission
The primary responsibility will be for the research and writing of applicable potential grant opportunities, drafting of Letters of Inquiry and Grant Proposals and updating our online grant application collaboration system for the organization.
Additional: This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the not-for-profit sector. This is a ground level experience working in a non-profit. This is also a great chance to develop above-entry-level skills.
