Integrated Disability & Leave Specialist
Reviews, investigates and assesses cases to determine whether the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) applies and if so, what accommodation(s) are recommended. Advises our clients on options for reasonable accommodation and makes recommendations regarding the best approach for managing these cases.
Analyzes, manages, and processes Family Medical Leave (FMLA) Claims, Short-term Disability Claims, and state leave programs in compliance with applicable regulations. Communicates clearly with clients and claimants on all aspects of the claims processes to ensure that on-going claim management is within company service standards and industry best practices.
Uses disability claim system and leave administration system to manage, document, and process claims.
Applies the appropriate contractual provisions; legal guidance; case management resources; and claim procedures, concepts, principles, and protocols to risk manage claims.
Uses advanced knowledge and judgment to provide sound guidance to clients.
Regularly exercises independent judgment in interpreting information. Consults with appropriate staff on complex claims as needed.
The Integrated Disability and Leave Specialist shall have:
â€¢ Three (3) years of professional experience required.
â€¢ Three (3) years ADA management required.
â€¢ Human Resources experience including FMLA administration is preferred.

Based on Experience
