CIN Program Coordinator - Network Performance - Clinically Integrated Network * Days - 40hrs/wk

General Summary:

The CIN Program Coordinator-Network Performance provides management and oversight of the overall payer program models that aim to achieve better care for patients, better health for our communities, and lower costs through improvement for our health care system. The CIN Program Coordinator is responsible for program strategy development, and overall operations, as well as stakeholder education and management to ensure the stability and success of ongoing program operations. Responsibilities include departmental coordination, managing relationships with payers and internal stakeholders, supporting local contract lifecycle, optimizing organizational processes, collaborating with departmental leaders, designing new processes, problem-solving, and setting goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, computer science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience implementing and/or supporting clinical information systems or project management.
  • At least two (2) years previous experience in managed health care environment, including data management. Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Effective interaction with staff, customers and vendors, required.
  • Project management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple projects in relation to the organization’s strategic and tactical focus required.
  • Strong knowledge of quality programs and regulatory requirements for eligible providers including MACRA, MIPS, CPC+, PCMH and Value-Based Care.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and design programs, assess application interdependencies, and analyze functional operations (structured analysis) strongly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate with supervisor/manager and other members of the department to promote a harmonious work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and interdependently with multiple teams required.
  • Ability to establish personal goals and take responsibility for meeting them within defined timelines.
  • Ability to perform at a high level of effectiveness in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  1. Create, monitor, and deploy the UMHW clinical integration program that contains provider level metric tracking and accountability for CIN membership. Will require partnership with CIN governance to share performance, gain approval of the annual program, and partnership with medical director/leadership for remediation performance steps.
  2. Compile and assess evidence for performance measures related to populations and/or clinical conditions; consult with clinical and methodological experts.
  3. Work as part of the CIN team and function as a resource and educator to support the management team and staff on the direction and performance of the program
  4. Develop, document, and improve operational policies and procedures.
  5. Analyzes data to identify and effectively communicates trends, ensure all regulatory reporting metrics are monitored and reported, and communicate with internal and external customers.
  6. Participate in the design and validation of system applications prior to implementation and coordinate training for the CIN team and other stakeholders.
  7. Ensure compliance with government regulations via research, assessment, gathering data and submission.
  8. Provide support and guidance to single, multiple and/or concurrently running projects of small, medium or large initiatives.
  9. Perform analysis and contribute to the reengineering of intermediate workflows; identify opportunities for efficiency, system enhancement and optimization utilizing identified change management process.
  10. Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements including developing systems to ensure continual organizational readiness; gather, synthesize, and analyze data from departments; provide consultation to departments around compliance initiatives; and monitor the progress of improvement projects.
  11. Maintain subject matter expertise on applicable accreditation and regulatory standards.
  12. Assist in preparing status reports, proposals and presentations as assigned.
  13. Create and adapt detailed project plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
  14. Effectively apply project management methodology and enforce project standards.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned. These may include but are not limited to: Maintaining a current knowledge base of department processes, protocols and procedures, pursuing self-directed learning and continuing education opportunities, and participating on committees, task forces, and work groups as determined by management.
